(One Year Old)

Hi! My name is Joe and welcome to my web site!

On this site, I can share all the new adventures that await me in life. I've been kept "in the dark" for awhile so everything is new to me and maybe sharing it with you will bring back some of your own fond memories of first time experiences.

My dad was a little excited when I arrived so he forgot to provide a few minor details about me in his email announcement like...my name!

My formal name is José.
I am named after my dad's Uncle Ernie. Yes, I know my first name is Jose and not Ernie but Uncle Ernie's real name is Jose. (It's only day one and already they are trying to confuse me) Anyway, I am named after my great uncle because he has been a true inspiration to my dad. He has given my dad guidance in his career and personal life. Hopefully, everything he taught my dad will be passed down to me.
Uncle Ernie also played an important role for my mom. He gave away my mom at her second wedding. Now my mom has only been married to my dad but they got married twice and had two separate weddings. (I have a feeling my life is not going to be an easy life to understand with my parents in charge)

My middle name is Ernesto.
Ernesto comes from my dad's grandfather Ernesto, although everyone calls him Tata. From what I am already being told, Tata was the greatest man who ever lived. He taught my dad how to hunt for food, to always take care of the familia, and to tell some pretty tall tales. I heard my dad is pretty good at that last one. Some day my dad is going to make a movie on Tata's life and hopefully that will happen before I go to college. Every eldest son in our families have Ernesto as our middle name and some as their first name. It's a family tradition.

I was born on August 29, 2005 at 12:43pm. I weighed 7 lbs 3 ounces and was 21 inches long

My Grandparents are Ursula Gray and Betty Gomez and this web site is really for them. I can tell they are already great grandmas because they have been giving me lots of presents.

My Godparents are Ernie Guerrero, Paul Gugg, and Cynthia Gugg.
Nino Ernie is my Godfather of Patience and Understanding. My dad has none of these traits so I am depending on Nino Ernie to teach me these things.
Godfather Paul is my Godfather of Knowledge. Uncle Paul is really smart and can teach me about anything in the world. He is a Captain in the U.S. Coast Guard!
Nina Cynthia is my Godmother of Determination. She can do anything she puts her mind to. She taught herself how to build databases and program in computer languages, she traveled all over the world by herself, and even runs marathons. She is my dad's sister and closest friend.

My guardians are Oprah and Homer. They are in charge of protecting me when I get older and play in the woods.
Oprah is the tough one. She is big, black, and not to be messed with. She has been in over 11 fights and has never lost. She loves to lick my face. Yuck!
Homer is more loveable but boy can he bark. I think he would warn Oprah if I were in danger and between both of them, they could fight any ol' bear or coyote!

So those are the details of my life. You can click on the links above to see photos of me, read about my dad and mom's thoughts in their diaries, and you can add your thoughts and advice in my Guest Book.

Thanks for visiting!
